Almonds
Almonds and almond oil are also loaded with vitamin E. When you apply vitamin E topically it can actually lighten scars and stretch marks. Using vitamin E topically an diminish the appearance of age spots. But if you take it internally, vitamin E can actually help prevent age spots from forming in the first place.

(Note: if you are going to have surgery soon, ask your doctor about the appropriate amounts of vitamin E for your diet. Some people find that they bleed more when they take extra vitamin E so you might want to cease any supplement during this time.)
